Never screaming

Or is that "Never!" and "Screaming!" I guess punctuation makes all the difference or at least it does in this case. Unfortunately the latter words/actions have been swimming around our house for a while now.

Halloween fever came early this year and what a bum deal that has been. I took the kids to get their costumes and of course they are enamored with them. Not such a big deal until Ellie decided she wasn't going to shed her costume for bed time and even secretly sneaked upstairs, putting herself to bed, costume in tact. Still not a big deal except she's not quite potty trained through the night and refused to do her tinkles. So I wake her up a few hours later to do tinkles and think I'll get away with getting her costume off as well. She's dead asleep and probably won't even notice, right? Wrong, dead wrong. She set off running and screaming through the house, "Never!" and other such obscenities. I guess some fights these kids are just meant to win by sheer will if nothing else.
